Cinema
Cinematic Echoes is a bold crossover project by organist Wanying Lin and percussionist Richard Gläser. Bringing together the majestic power of the organ with the raw energy of percussion, the duo reimagines iconic film scores such as Interstellar, Dune, and Game of Thrones.
This program transforms the concert hall into a cinematic soundscape — where epic harmonies and pulsating rhythms collide, offering audiences an electrifying and unexpected musical journey.

Organ
Wanying Lin
Wanying Lin is a Chinese concert organist, choral conductor, and lecturer in organ at the Berlin University of the Arts. She studied concert organ and church music at the Hochschule für Musik Stuttgart and the Universität der Künste Berlin, furthering her training in Toulouse under Ludger Lohmann, Michel Bouvard, Henry Fairs, and Yves Rechsteiner.
A prize-winner at numerous international organ competitions, she performs regularly across Asia and Europe. As a composer, her works include Monolog for organ and electronics, premiered in Italy, and Tang Resonating, premiered at the Orgelspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Percussion
Richard Gläser
Richard Gläser began his percussion studies with Jörg Fabig, followed by advanced training with Katarzyna Mycka and Rainer Römer in Frankfurt am Main. In 2015, he completed his studies in Stuttgart with Marta Klimasara and Klaus Dreher.
He has won prizes at several international competitions, including First Prize at the Enrico Mercatali Competition, Second Prize at the Luis Milan Competition in Valencia, and First Prize at the International Percussion Competition Luxembourg with the Daidalos Percussion Quartet.
Gläser has been supported by the Anton Fahs Foundation, Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now, and the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes.
